1. Service Overview & Expectations

I understand that:

  • Whitening results vary between individuals

  • Results depend on lifestyle habits and maintenance

  • Teeth will only whiten to their natural shade limit

  • Crowns, veneers, fillings, and restorations do not change color

  • Cosmetic whitening services are not a substitute for routine dental care

2. First 24–48 Hours Care Guidelines

For the first 24–48 hours following a whitening session, it is recommended to avoid foods and beverages that may stain surfaces, including:

  • Coffee

  • Tea

  • Soda

  • Red wine

  • Curry

  • Berries

  • Tomato-based sauces

  • Soy sauce

  • Tobacco products

A lighter or “low-stain” diet is recommended during this time.

3. Temporary Sensitivity & Normal Effects

I understand that some temporary effects may occur, including:

  • Tooth sensitivity

  • Gum irritation

  • Mild tingling sensations

  • Temporary whitening or spotting effects on gums or enamel

These effects are typically temporary and usually resolve within a short period.

Individuals with porous enamel or previous orthodontic treatment may experience temporary visual variations that typically fade.

If discomfort persists or worsens, consultation with a licensed dental professional is recommended.

4. Oral Care Recommendations

To help maintain results, it is recommended to:

  • Maintain regular brushing and flossing

  • Stay hydrated

  • Avoid frequent staining foods and beverages

  • Use sensitivity-support toothpaste if needed

  • Maintain consistent oral hygiene practices

5. Maintenance & Longevity

I understand that whitening results are influenced by:

  • Lifestyle habits

  • Diet

  • Oral hygiene routine

  • Tobacco use

  • Maintenance frequency

Optional touch-up products or maintenance sessions may be used to help maintain cosmetic results over time.
